A few sites?
by MattLPMP April 24, 2006 9:17 PM PDT
It's worth mentioning that MSN's Zone online gaming site is virtually unusable in IE7, regardless of the Java engine used. Apparently, it's a known defect, but something that big will (or should) steer a lot of average consumers away.

Notes and Issues in Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2

Well it's nice they want the public to test this version. When I check their Notes and Issues in Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 page, it doesn't make me feel comfortable to test it. There are too many open issues and incompatibilities left:

I am quite happy with Firefox. When you have the best why mess with the rest!

Free Phone Support for A Web Browser?
by backgroundnoise April 25, 2006 11:13 AM PDT
If someone runs into difficulty using a Web browser I doubt they'll make any effort to phone tech support. I suspect they'll just re-start their browser and move ahead.

Is this really an incentive to get new users to try the browser?

I'll test if there's a guarantee of no security flaws upon final release!

Firefox is better. It's safer. Microsoft now is building a new version of IE? I like Windows OS's but their monopoly games in the browser market I don't like.

Huh? Only if there's no security flaws guaranteed in the final release?? But you use Firefox! They've been caught a number of times in their short existence with their pants down on security issues. Just tell everyone you don't like Microsoft instead of saying something dumb like that.
