What's with AOL having the Netscape team and yet building a
browser based on IE. I just don't get it.

If you wants more users, get rid of all the aol garbage that is installed with your browser. I am getting sick and tired of spending time deleting your trash when I install your browser. It is to the point where I do not upgrade everytime a new version is available.

And Pigs Will Fly

AOL is the garbage scow of the internet. The only thing dumber
than running IE is to use AOL. Both are dependant on the great
mass of unaware internet users. I demand that all my clients
avoid using AOL for both business and personal interent
operations. Once my clients see the freedon of using a good
local ISP, there are no further arguments. Next I get them off IE
and onto Opera, Firefox, and other quality browsers. It will be a
cold day in wherever before I suggest that they switch to an AOL
developed Netscape. Who needs it?

See I don't understand this. Here they have a browser Firefox that is excellent and is being downloaded in record numbers and so what does Netscape/AOL decide to do? They decide to fracture their market by creating a competitor for its own product and then they turn around and wonder why both products fail.

Instead of wasting money on a browser no one needs they need to sink that money in the Firefox to keep a strong united front against IE. Netscape and AOL are stupid and this is the A #1 reason IE beat Netscape to begin with. You can't run a company and stand up to competition if your company is being run by mornons.

If you don't, you're only displaying your ignorance. Netscape is NOT the publisher of Firefox, so your comment about how they already have a good browser was a waste of time.

Firefox and Netscape are both based on the Mozilla browser.

Aol you need to get a life if you need to get into the browser business find a new name for your efforts, you also might try something larger than a 3 letter name for yourself.sounds like kindergarten to me,I have always been leery of any company that was afraid of useing more than 3 letters to identify themselves.
