And kudos to Judge Woodlock for tossing them a one oar reprieve.
Will counsel put the oar in an oarlock? Or use it as rudder and paddle a better course?
- About time...

- I have really become fed up with all the P to P sites sending spam, I joined Facebook.com after hearing that there site was more stable then some others, and was pleasantly surprised to see a site where everything actually works, and no spam !! I hadn?t really heard of Connectu.com, and today, in trying to reach it to check it out, I see "We are sorry, but we had a problem connecting to the database server" Wow, being a web developer and in the SEO business, this is one of the reasons I stay away from these sites, so many want to create the next big P to P site, and so many bite the dust because of shabby coding. Yet they say Facebook stole their idea? anyone know how many P to P sites started this week, anyone know, how many of those don?t work properly ? Any one with the ability to hire a lawyer, seems to want a piece of someone else?s action, the least they can do is substantiate it It should be a lawyers responsibility, to at the very least do some due diligence, before just filing a suit. Right or wrong, I commend the judge in this situation for throwing the suit back at the lawyer for connectu.com and forcing them to substantiate there position. This legal frivolous must stop somewhere.

- I must agree with Richard... this is a pointless case... okay, so their similar, but ConnectU ids for university students and alumni... Facebook allows younger kids, and is much safer to use, by far, than MySpace... there's no Spam, no hacking, and no reason to shut it down...
