I have traveled 1.5M miles on NWA, almost all domestic and have been a Worldperks Visa cardholder (now have the new Amex) and a member of the Worldclub. I have to believe I?ve been a profitable customer and that I?ve earned a higher level of customer service than I?m receiving.
I called and shared my story with Delta customer service and spoke with Dee who tried to help but couldn?t. I then spoke with the manager Tracy who just wanted me off the phone. I asked that my concerns be documented in their system and was assured they would be. My agent called the next day and asked for a recap of what was covered and was told there was no record of my call. Unbelievable!
We had to re-booking our flight at a cost of $500 more (a steal given the timing thanks to hours spent watching fares), which should be Delta?s expense and not ours.
Oh, and I just booked a trip to Detroit last week and received and email this morning announcing a schedule change?the third I?ve experienced in three months?all of which have negatively impacted my business.
Is this how the newly merged largest Airline plans to treat customers?

- Leave it to an exec like Denny to be cruel. As a current flight attendant, I feel her pain. In all honesty though, business exec passengers usually are the hardest to deal with onboard so it doesn't shock me that they would disrespect her on this posting.
