Delta Airlines-Your Worst Nightmare

I hate that you got fired for blogging, I remember when it happened, we had a converation about you on the aircraft...ridiculous. I was actually "retired" from the company because I was injured during turbulence, Delta wouldn't allow me to schedule a worker's comp doctor's appt, ended up in the ER with about 72 hours to live (I was given drugs I was allgeric to by Delta's docs and though Delta knew, and w/c knew, they wouldn't help me) and was "resigned" because since I went outside their system, that provides only major surgery or lifetime pain injections, I violated rules. Delta also conveniently forgot to pay me several times, like about every other paycheck, and I almost lost every asset I owned. Not only would I NEVER recommend them as an employer, it seems they consciously get rid of every flight attendant that would literally die to save a passenger, so I no longer fly the airline at all. I'm really sorry about what happened to you...maybe since Leo got the ball rolling by taking so much cash out of the company, they'll just continue to go downhill and the wonderful employees who still work there can find an airline that will appreciate them...

Honestly, Ellen, you must have not wanted the job that
badly. You need to start to take responsibilty, have more
respect for yourself, and take a look at your ethics. I
believe they are not 'in'. Your actions do not display a
grateful, ethical, classy worker, but more of a trampy, vein,
proud, flight attendant, that thinks she's ALL THAT! I
would take all the time you're wasting being a victim, and
learn from the experience. GROW UP! And stop trying to
make it like you did nothing wrong. You did. Your ethics
are completely out. Take responsibility. There are a million
women that would love to have been in your position; to
abuse it, and be disrespectful to an employer is not okay.

I was also recently fired from Delta. My circunstances are very different, but still questionable at best. I imagine somehow someone from Delta is sitting in a lovely corner office with a window looking out at the training center monitoring all of these comments??!! I must be careful what I say as I am attempting to appeal my termination. I am wondering, Ellen, if you have had any success from an attorney in defending your job? I know most don't want to take on the corporate giants. I am also seeking legal counsel, but as an underpaid F.A. I have little money to contribute to my defense.
