- I would have to at least half-disagree with Mr. Schneier. While the encryption protocols in use at the MOMENT may not be the weakest link, if a working quantum computer were to become operational, we would immediately be left naked in a very nasty wind.

(3 Comments)I find Mr. Schneier's comment about the total lack of value of quantum networking very short-sighted.
Are there other--immediately larger--problems? Sure. But if we lack quantum networking when quantum computation goes operational, we'd be up an ill-smelling rivlet sans a means of propulsion.
