Ok, where does this rep think the money for all this storage is going to come from? Federal grants? Not likely. It would be us, the consumers, who would have to pay for all this storage of info in higher prices. And its not like its hard to hide your identity online, especially when surfing the web. Simply find a free over-sea's proxy server and you're almost completely anonymos.

Do this people in congress look up or do any research before they open their mouths?

Tell her not to delete it, so she can "record your internet address". Soon she will realize the actual burden when Outlook crashes because her Inbox is too big. And that would only be 1/10th or 1/100th of what ISPs would have to deal with.

And the Nazi couldn't understand why anyone who has nothing to hide would like to keep their privacy anyway, just on general principal.

My letter has been sent, and everyone who post here, please use it and do write to her. I really gave her a piece of mind! This little smoke and mirrors scheme did not fit with me.
