Diebold not playing fair ?

As usual, Diebold will go the extra mile to ensure their sloppy programming practices, complete insecurity (if not worse) are not disclosed.

One thing I'd really like to see in their source code is what they're doing with the IRDA port. I never found a legitimate use for it, but it's fantastic for all kinds of fraudulent uses ...

Shoddy voting machines

Diebold has a terrible record even though it has never acknowledged it. These machines are inexcusable and have no business being used in a democracy. They are an excellent tool for dictatorships, as they make it extremely easy and hidden from view to non-discriminating customers to completely change the tallies during elections.

The many under-the-table avenues of access to vote tallies and vote totals have been investigated and acknowledged by the Government Accountability Office. There is no excuse for continuing to use these machines in our elections at any level. The only remaining reason they continue to be in contention is that they are championed and protected by crooked, ignorant, lazy, or incompetent elections officials and Secretaries of State.

So it is up to us, the citizens, at this point to educate and pressure our officials to read and understand the vast amount of literature of utter failure of these electronic voting machines to properly register the actual votes of the citizens of this country.

You can be sure that citizens are beginning to wake up to the failures and the fraud.

And if you as a citizen truly want your vote to count, you will be come educated and join the fight for your voice and your vote.
