Anyways, the point he was trying to make is that a similarly-
equipped Dell costs about the same as a Mac.
As for the 1-year-minimum warranty, you're wrong. I just
checked dell.com and the Dell Dimension 2400 that sells for
$399 only comes with a 90-day warranty.

- Apple has said that it breaks even (essentially) with iTunes but makes the real money selling the iPod. Apple might come out smelling like a winner if it let's people buy music (significantly higher quality I might add) from Real but buy their players. That sounds like the best possible win for Apple.
