Once this become universal, people will drive even more recklessly. I think it should be called "Electronic Stupidity Compensation".
Next we'll hear the EU wants to make Microsoft pay for it...

The last thing we need is another bit of technology that makes stupid people drive even more recklessly. I got rear ended by a stupid woman in a Volvo this winter when she was clearly going too fast in slippery conditions. She didn't understand that the 4-wheel drive she had did not help her stop in snow.
Any car is safe under any road conditions when the driver is well trained. The biggest mechanical problem cars have is the the nut behind the wheel.
