The only ones who are ******** and moaning about this is the people who can't seem to get their opinions accepted by the people who want to watch/read/listen to them, so tehy think that by forcing someone to carry it others will listen. - let's see... every industry in the world is consolidating and moving on, but when some independent filmmaker can't sell their wares, they cry foul and ask that the government step in and FORCE outlets to buy from independents. Tough luck, move on and make something that people want to buy....

The main concern here is that when a handful of people have complete control over a public service used to inform the general public they have massive power for influencing public opinion and quelling the voices of dissenters.
