$16,000 for toast ?!?
by May 8, 2005 3:47 PM PDT
For the love of all things holy, if you have more money than you have brains, can't you find something else to blow $16,000 on besides some jack###'s toast? If you're looking for a tax write off, why not donate $16,000 to cancer research or children's homes...that includes moronic businesses like GoldenPalace.com...geez...shouldn't natural selection have weeded these people out by now? :-(

that everyone posting negative comments are just upset that they didn't think of it first :P

and calling someone with plans to donate at least $16k to charity names is pretty low.

the reason someone with 'more money than brains' would use this method, is because they are not only donating to charity in an indirect way, but they are getting publicity. there will probably be another article when the auction ends saying who the winner is, and anyone with a sense of humor will see it in such a silly auction. if someone just up and donates $16k to charity, no one will know.

TOO MUCH RUNAWAY BRIDE
by May 20, 2005 5:19 AM PDT
Jennifer Wilbanks should not be allowed to sell anything to do with her situation, even if it goes to charity. this would only glorify what she did and NOT make her pay back to the public for her insanity. This woman plays games and REAL MISSING PERSONS are the ones that will end up not being taken seriously, because of pranks like this. I feel sorry for all victims of missing person, but not INSANE people like her!
