What a bunch of crap. That animation made this whole election worth doing. Finally something to laugh and smile at for this election. Besides they should be happy that finally after all these someone wanted to use that song. It isn't like its good for much else.

The boat that is used in the film is NOT a Swift Boat, but a River Patrol Boat (PBR). The picture was hijacked from the website of the man that operated the boat in Vietnam.

woody's rolling in his grave

Anyone who knows about Woody's history would know he'd love this use of his song. A true troubadour, he "borrowed" tunes and remade them as his own ... a time-honored folkie tradition (even though it may have pre-dated the term). I'm amazed no one interviewed his daughter, Nora, in all the coverage I've seen about this ordeal. she would have said exactly the same thing. She wants her father's music to live and is actively pursuing musical reinterpretations of his work.
