we're still dealing with storage media that involve spinning discs
and moving parts? I understand that solid-state storage has
historically lagged behind disks and discs in capacity and economy,
but surely we're at the point where we can put a high-definition
movie on a memory card that won't cost an arm and a leg, aren't
we? I get the feeling the content producers just want us to buy the
same product over and over in ever-newer formats. In the words of

- What a stupid -so called- war...

- I would like to know how the DVD as a format started because it seemed it was smooth, since the beginning I didn't understand why after the weird format war a few years ago between betamax and VHS, the companies enter in a new war in this new century with the Blu-ray and the HD-DVD, as an ignorant customer I can tell if you are going to introduce a new and revolutionary product, you should call it in a very innovative way, no just adding letters to something that already exist, that the only thing that do is make everything more confusing, but I'm just saying words from a customer perspective, now some of you would know which one is better and why, as far as I know they are very similar. and at the end the only that matters is having the movies you like without having to buy two or three different players because your favotites movies are in different format, that's really stupid.
