Who's the boss?

What a bunch of crap. Who's in charge , the parent or the kid. We allow my 8 yr. old 1/2 hr. playing Nintendo DS a day, 1 hr. tv a day, make sure he reads everyday, & send him outside to play the rest of the time. He's having a ball.

Internet safety pleges found!
by hayley013 June 13, 2007 9:29 AM PDT
I found a great way to talk with my kids about Internet safety and time spent on the computer is through NetSmartz.org. They have parent resources and Internet safetly pledges that both we the parents can sign and the kids can sign and discuss together!

think before you post

The ?think before you post? commercials are a great idea. It?s amazing ? as in scary - how much information teens are willing to share with strangers. Advertising works best when it is heard in lots of different media and from multiple sources. Schools might be willing to get involved? maybe music websites. This would be a good campaign to expand and prolong.
