OK, you don't like Microsoft. So you say that nothing important to Microsoft should be published or considered news just because you don't like them? Is that the kind of reasoning you apply to everything (like when choosing your software providers)?

Because Scoble is a media personality that few on the internet can match, save maybe Jeffrey Zeldman. Maybe actually reading the article could tune you into why he was important.

Scoble hinted he was leaving

I thought he was on his way out when he engaged in a lot of
'reevaluating my priorities' blather soon after his mother's death
last month.

Is Scoble all THAT and a bag of chips? No. I've become a bit of a
regular at Scobleizer the last several months, but I find Robert a
pretty superficial person. He is incapable of thinking differently.

Robert Scoble is one of the most famous bloggers, and the public face of Microsoft to the blogging community. His blog gets over 15,000 hits a day.

He wrote the book on corporate blogging titled "Naked Conversations". Robert changed the perception of Microsoft for many people.
