They have nothing that interests me because I want nothing to do with a company that sucks up to China's censoring program!

I hope you don't use any Microsoft, Cisco, Alcatel, Juniper, Yahoo AND Google services or products. They all take part in the censorship.

Making Google Richer...
by rtaggert February 7, 2006 6:39 AM PST
Why are Harvard and other renowned institutions with enormous library collections offering their collections to Google free of charge? Perhaps being chummy with Goolge billionaires outweighs any interest in protection of the millions of authors whose works will be on display. More importantly, Google is an aging search engine with a highly emulate-able search scheme. While Google, in terms of wealth, easily possesses enough money to develop and to adapt to future search methodologies and currently sits atop the class of Internet search engines, its current incarnation is by no means the search engine of the future. It is disappointing to see enduring and renowned institutions go after an easy buck.

In other news Thomas also would have loved refrigeration, the polio vaccine and the internal combustion engine.

...insipid statement, vapid, and not insightful

and all this from a University President. Quite possibly, though, Jefferson might not have used google. He probably would have taught himself programing and architecture and written and developed his own search engine.

Today we obviously lack genuine democrats like Thomas Jefferson. And that's not just my opinion. Look what famous peers said about Jefferson:
