Might I ask....

Who gives a ^%*@&#!!!!! Seriously. Is the American public so dang deranged that we don?t have anything better to do then get mentally hung up on some psycho who kills his girlfriend, wife, whatever that had a baby on the way? Do you think this is the first double mother child murder in American history? Or how about Wacko Jacko. ***!?! Do we have anything better to do then stand around the water cooler and speculate about Jackson's sexual habits?
But what am I saying. This from the country that reelected an idiot.*slumps in his chair and fears for the future mental stability of the people of this country* God help us all if the most entertaining thing around is murder and child molestation.

Who Cares?!

Why did the media jump all over this case? Sure it's terrible that a mother and her child are dead, but there are hundreds of cases like this every year, (I'm guessing). So why did the media cover this? The OJ and Michael Jackson cases I can sortof see since the defendents are famous. But I don't see the attraction of this case. I can only hope that wit6h this verdict, the media will soon forget about the case and stop talking about it.

I'm guessing you are a male, but don't you think OJ and Michael get enough publicity as it is. Are you implying the only people that are worthy of a news article regarding a murder are famous people?

How about the fact that the number ONE cause of death for a pregnant woman is MURDER! That's right buddy. If this case is getting the media attention, its like you said it happens all the time. Awareness of this problem is the key to changing it. Death by the husband or significant other is common to pregnant woman. Nice thought. Within this time this case easily a few hundred were murdered in the past 2 years. A few weeks ago in Griffith, IN a woman was murdered by....let's just a they have a person of interest...herhubby in mind. This case is not just about a beautiful young Modesto Woman that will never get to hold her son. It is letting the world know that there is obviously an epidemic crisis of Men killing their wives or girlfriends when they are pregnant. What's up with that? Anyone care to enlighten me?

In the absence of direct evidence and eyewitness, all plausible leads lead to Peterson who has the remote reason to vanish his wife.
Triple life sentence with no parole in his lifetime is a just and fair punishment for his crime. Death penalty is not a punishment in philosophical and psychological sense. It is a painless compromise like an instant pain reliever where the criminal is relieved of his misery to suffer from the crime he committed.
If I were Peterson with bleak future ahead of me, with my name destroyed and dignity broken, death would be my ally and savior. I have no more reason to live after those tumultuous court trials and the tragedy that beleaguered my life and my family.
Giving him, therefore, a death penalty is like giving him favor and instant relief of his shame and misery.
The moral and cultural decadence of our society and the resentment against moral righteousness made him or us, in one way or another, vulnerable to apathy and indifference to uphold reason and moral responsibility in our materialistic society.
Every crime has a punishment whether material or immaterial, and the reasonable punishment must be carried out within this material world to purge and chastise the corrupt mind and soul inhabiting the human body.
Let Peterson suffer in his lifetime rather than giving him favor to suffer in seconds of dying, the immaterial form of punishment from which, his mind, body, and soul would be spared of to suffer from psychological and emotional torments.
Anguish, despair, and torments make a man come to his senses whether good or bad; the process is more dramatic and psychologically excruciating than facing one's death.
Death as punishment of the crime glorifies the former, the meaning of the latter changes into a disguise of another crime.

Why bother...

I cannot believe that websites like SII are even included in your story. A dark day for just a few, a bright day, for the victims' family. How about doing a story on the wicked people that stole the boat flowers and follow-up on it. I can tell you, I did. People from all over the world sent flowers to "the boat" but not much was said regarding the fact that someone (cough SII) decided to steal the flowers and dump them. Someone from SII decided to steal the cards to bring to "daddy."

It's all good because we recovered many of the flowers through livetrialupdates.com and had the flowers rearranged by Bella Floral Art and had them laid to rest on Laci & Conners FINAL resting place. Sorry SII and Mark G, the dump is not the resting place for the flowers. Our voices were heard as we are Courting Justice ~ Voices for Victims.

Scott Petterson had no right doing what he did to his wife and un born child. She did nothing but love him and looked what he did to her. Even his own child. what kind of person does that? He got what he deserved now he will no what its like to be in pain as your getting killed. He went and bought a new truck come on people what does that tell you there where NO TEARS coming out of this guys eyes. My prayers go out to her family. Everyone deserves to live a full life and she did. She is now with the angels. Scott peterson was even cheating on his wife at the time! You couldnt think this guy was going to get away with this did you?
