Frankly, who cares? Media Player is cumbersome to navigate, has a steep learning curve, is intrusive, has a footprint like Sasquatch, and is basically spyware with a nice skin.

So, gee, it's like about a thousand other Microsoft products.

As a Microsoft Digital Media MVP, I have had the chance to test early versions of the WMP10 Beta and have been impressed with what I have seen.

I see lots of folk "bash" MS, but rarely do these guys ACTUALLY look at the products in a real life! (They just treat MS Bashing as some kind of online sport).

The Windows Media Team have put a LOT of effort into this latest release and it shows....

A review of the current Public BETA will be posted later today (after the official MS public release) including some videos and screenshots.
