Second: My comment is mainly for the author of this article: Stephen, I think that you could have summarized all the US States that you've listed as simply USA and continue on to mention other countries. Otherwise it seemed a bit strange to me that you are saying "all over the world" and listing parts of the country we live in. Was there a need to have more content than there was originally and that's why you decided to add a few more words to this PR?
Also the Twitter feed you referred from Tadiera seemed a little awkward don't you think? Can you really agree with the statement you used that: "The Internet dies without Google." ?
Oh, no what are we going to do if Google dies? What were we doing all these years before Google was born?

Basically an ISP (NTT.net) injected a bad BGP route into the internet and broke everything. Hopefully more analysis soon:

So, I used Explorer (which I hate to do because of the "bloat") and had the same connection problems I was having with Firefox. So, it was Google, after all! I never would have guessed that without learning the news from CNet. Thanks dudes.
Gmail, Adsense, youtube,blogger... all down.. what i'm I to do at work??.. Well there's always facebook..hhmm..
