- For ingenuity great kudos to 15 year old David Nelson. For ethics on the other hand, no so much. I did download the app and was not impressed but I am not within the catergory of people who seek to download music and videos without compensating writers, artists, performers and copyright holders. Beyond reducing the size of the video, I did not see the purpose. I do believe there is a button on the app that is connected to a "buy song" feature which is apparently how the developer will profit.
