We have numerous problems on a 2.2 Ghz Pentium 4 computer with 1 Gig of Ram, the internet connection is FAST (Speakeasy.net/speedtest Last Result: Download Speed: 7407 kbps (925.9 KB/sec transfer rate). We're ready to look at other sources other than Netflix for online viewing of media.
Had no problems with Netflix before Silverlight.

Silverlight will kill Netflix. Anyone who used the previous Windows Media player setup noticed an instant huge drop in quality when 'upgrading' to Silverlight. Not only did frame rates drop dramatically, but the obvious compression artifacts made the previously excellent Netflix streaming quality unwatchable. Netflix also force their users to stay on Silverlight once they try it, so there's no going back ( an amazingly poor customer service response to complaints.) I canceled; many will not because there's no real affordable option to Netflix, but the take-up is bound to drop when users find the Instant Play facility is now so poor.

Silverlight is garbage. Since we now have no choice but to use Sliverlight I have never been able to stream an entire move with my screen going blank at least once. Silverlight of course tries to blame the problem on me or my computer or Netflix. Absoulte garbage. I'm streaming Flash10 movies from Hulu ALL DAY LONG on the EXACT SAME HARDWARE with no problems whatsoever.

And the video quality of the Silverlight stream is atrocious

PLEASE JUNG THIS GARBAGE NETFLIX OR I AM DONE WITH YOU!

SICK AND TIRED.

SILVERLIGHT IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!
