I do not have a Roku, but I do have an Xbox, and I also have been seeing the exact same issues. As have many others lately. So you can include us in the 'seeing trouble' areas... I have 4 bars all day (Time Warner, RoadRunner Turbo (22M/2M), Central Texas) until ~ 4 PM or so, I'll get a few at 3 bars, then boom 1 bar and it won't budge. I can live with 2-4 bars but 1 bar looks like buttered poo to me. I was very interested in a Roku box until this problem. I stream from PC and Xbox and if this problem isn't resolved, I will not retain my Netflix membership as streaming is the only reason I use it.

I know it is probably TW's fault but if I can utilize a service properly, why am I paying for it. Unfortunately I can't cancel TW cause there's no other choices around here so I'm screwed and I work from home so I have to have broadband... But at the same time, they cause Netflix to suffer the loss of my business. I'm surprised there is not a lawsuit in the works for ISPs throttling streaming content...

I purchased a ROKU box in December and soon discovered that content was unwatchable. The video stream would be interrupted every 10 to 15 minutes and a "loading" message appeared on the screen as more content was buffered. These lost of signal interruptions lasted 3 minutes or longer. I tried without success to contact ROKU tech support. It was impossible to reach them by telephone and they did not respond to email. Since the box was unusable, I obtained an RMA (not without difficulty) and returned the box to ROKU. Now I am experiencing a problem getting my refund. ROKU is difficult to deal with and very unresponsive. If anyone is thinking of getting a ROKU box, I'd suggest checking out the ROKU video player online support forums to see how things are going before jumping in.
