I think its a little unfair to say Google "plans" on changing the privacy clause in Chrome's EULA when its already been done.

I think it's a little unfair to defend Google regarding their (ridiculous) Chrome EULA because they can always change it when, in the very same position, a company like Microsoft would much probably be bashed hard and accused of abusing its dominant position.

And we have the example of Vista's EULA, which was heavily bashed for not allowing Vista to be installed more than once, even after it was changed by Microsoft. Nobody cared back then that Microsoft had changed it already, why should we care now? Oh right, it's good Google, not evil Microsoft.

When can we expect google to change the privacy plan. And its high time they stop Hijacking the users privacy. I wonder they are not sued yet...I sometimes feel this is unfair from google , and completely paradoxial to their MOTO ...

It's Google, they are "good" no matter what they do. These things are only illegal if it is Microsoft. Makes sense, no?

**** how much is google paying CBS for your guys merciless shill of Chrome, it got a brain dead bookmark system, no way to save font type/size prefences, missing basic icon (homepage and print) obtuse and unhelpful help instuctions and it now stand other than the fact it fast on cnet (no happy accident there) in my book Chrome get a very generious C- to D grade due to lack of common sense basic features that EVERY web browser need. BBBBBBOOOOOOO for you shameless SHILLING for Chrome

It doesn't matter if it sucks, what matters here is that it's a Google or Apple product against a Microsoft product. Gotta praise it and claim it's better than anything Microsoft offers, not forgetting to state that in the last year Microsoft's market share decreased 0,1%.
CNET: the design might have changed, but the bias is the same. It's all about the money.

Chrome is all hype. IE8 is the best of them all...even better than FF3. Let me explain.
I noticed that my TV app would begin to stutter and get chppy when using Chrome AND FF , but no such problems when using IE 7/8. After reading an article on CNN.COM I now know why. On real world web pages and most have Flash on them , Chrome and FF both hammer the CPU !!! With IE there is very minimal CPU usage shown to accomplish the same task. I don`t care what Google says about some javascript test being faster , because I`m seeing IE 8 be just as quick with MINIMAL CPU load on all websites. And IE 8 has many more useful features than Chrome and a better layout than their Fisher-Price interface. Real world testing shows IE 8 to be just as fast as Chrome ! Chrome...nothing but hype !

Thank you for stating what anyone unbiased concludes from trying out all the browsers in an unbiased way.

Hey, how about Seamonkey? Seamonkey is super fastest than Firefox 2, Opera, IE8, etc. Using less CPU usage. How you like Seamonkey? I love Seamonkey so much. Because Seamonkey use less memory RAM closer to 65 MB to 105 MB. Firefox 2 used over 120 MB to 300+ MB! Firefox 2 use a lot on CPU usage to 100%! I hope Seamonkey will help people very much. Please try Seamonkey. Seamonkey is very super fastest in the world. I have no problem with Seamonkey so far. Seamonkey version is 1.1.11 now. You can download at website - http://www.seamonkey-project.org/ . Good Luck!

"Hey, how about Seamonkey?" It sucks.

"How you like Seamonkey?" Not at all.

Faster than IE8? Sure, if you don't even have a phishing filter that's pretty easy. Less CPU/RAM usage? Maybe compared to FF, certainly not compared to IE8. And it's rather curious how you don't even mention security (I mean who cares about that, especially regarding browsers); I'm sure the fact that the update 1.1.11 fixes "several security vulnerabilities" is just a sad coincidence.

IE8 > FF3 > Safari > Opera > Chrome > Seamonkey

Flash problems, high CPU usage, lack of general useful features, no homepage button, no phishing filter (no wonder it's faster), no print button, no way to save font type/size preferences, weak bookmark system, weak help, weak interface/layout, etc.; what a threat to "the most widely used browser" (whose last iteration, IE8, already proves to be the best among all the alternatives) and to the world's biggest software company, LOL.

IE 8 > FF 3 > Safari > Opera > Netscape > Mozilla > Chrome > Seamonkey

I find new technology for Firefox 2, 3 and SeaMonkey add-on - No Script. Visit http://noscript.net/ now. It will make Mozilla browser super overclock highest speed load to against Netscape, IE, Opera, Safari, Flock, etc. WHY? To protect against malware, java, swf, ads, pop-ups, etc like Unwanted. Auto block them without harm our computers. That what we not want get rid of annoy pop ups that include CPU usage and Memory RAM. That why we recall other internet programs are lousy! Mozilla is world 1# Top right now! I hope Microsoft need replace Internet Explorer into Mozilla. Mozilla is one of the future fastest internet in the world.

Hey!!! Guess what! I use No script add on for my Firefox and SeaMonkey. I don't get any pop ups no more! I am very happy with add on product! Yay!!! :-D I recommend Mozilla with No script add on for all people. You can allow or block unwanted things that slow your internet down. Please try out! ;-) wink!
