Are personalized stamps now collectible?
by September 30, 2004 10:58 AM PDT
Hello,

Now that this program is discontinued, will the ones that are in
circulation turn into valuable collectibles?

I'm not a stamp collector, but I am an economist. Laws of
supply and demand. I guess the real question I'm asking is:
Now that these are banned, will a demand for the banned
stamps materialize?

What a shame, I really wanted to see whether an order for "Defeat Bush" stamps would make it through... :)

Timid USPS Bureaucrats

Timid USPS bureaucrats are showing their lack of imagination and their limited perspective. They are probably peeved that they didn't think of the concept themselves and like the "dog in the manger" don't want anyone else to benefit from a great, original idea. Shame on them.

Stamps.com bad trade practice
by Eric Leaver November 9, 2007 12:22 PM PST
This company should be shut down.
check out ripoffreport.com search for complaints on stamps.com to see how they get income.
here is my experiance : Stamps.com suddenly appeard on my check card statement, I really do not know how they got the card number, probably through a promotion unrelated to stamps. a week after the first charge of $15.95 showed up a second charge $15.95 appeared, My father called Stamps.com to get an explanation and to complain approx. 1 week after the second charge, Their explanation was that if you join a gym and don't use it you still have to pay for your membership, and will not do any thing untill they talked to me. the following day they charged another $15.95 for a total off $47.85. I called them to stop charges and get refund, They would not refund the monies, and said that they will charge me one more time. These people cost me $105.00 additionally in overcharge fees. My father went to different sites Amazon.com, for example, that had an obscure promotion and got as far as giving a credit card number without once seeing any fee costs. This is a scam with support from United States Postal Service, Amazon.com, UPS. Fox news. to name a few/
