No need to wait for Longhorn to get PowerShell. You can download PowerShell right now from the Microsoft site

Gunness Me...

...I simply cannot wait to deploy this piece of expensive garbage and destroy my organization's enterprise completely! At home on our test machine, I already destroyed the ability to compute with its baby sister Vista Ultimate. Redmond, "we" includes a few states as well as federal govt agencies not to mention whole countries in Western Europe, when I say "we" love you for convincing us once and for all not to use your crummy software. PS To other CNET members who are Windows fans, for my personal use at home, I am too - XP Professional SP2 awaiting SP3; and to Apple OS X fans, I'm not much of a bigger fan of that O/S anymore than Vista/LonghornServer. And to my IT brethren, I hope your deploy LS asa I do ~ it'll keep us in our current jobs for another seven years minimum. To CNET, nice one for the title's sly phrase "roping more into..". You said it!

For $100 an hour I will come over and setup Vista for you. Make it work like a champ.

Anyone that would deploy any software in an orginization with out testings is a fool. Especially with free the VM tools you have access to.
7 years is to configure a server?

" I hope your deploy LS asa I do ~ it'll keep us in our current jobs for another seven years minimum."

yeah cause it takes 7 years to configure a linux server.

my buddy has been touting linux for his company for two years now but still hasnt gotten his servers running the features that will allow him to remove his m$ products and i predict he wont for quite some time.

all the while my m$ servers are humming along without a hiccup, i barely think about them, im too busy writing software in M$'s .NET RAD environment to actually make a difference with IT inside my organization.

want a windows app, maybe a web service, web site, pocket pc app, you name ive wrote it?

for $200 bucks an hour ill make whatever software you want to run on that vista box.
