Re-Install Windows, Yessiree, All the time!
Ok, so you haven't had to install windows again, then you must do nothing on it, becuase I reinstall my OS every other month, keeps my big fat registry down (erases everytime I reinstall) and allows me to re-organize my files, and I am good knowing there is no adware and or spyware on my machine. I have had my computer for almost a year now, and I have reinstalled the OS about ten times now. It's not that big a deal, as long as you have some back up plan. I reccommend any one to do so every other month or so. Very good practice too, if I were to get a virus, or crash, I can back up the machine in as little as four hours. Now, you can keep ur os on ur machine for ever, but I reccommend Reinstalling once in a while.

Blue Screen of Death
I successfully installed Vista on my HP Pavilion a1030e after updating the drivers for the video/sound/wireless adapters. But when I tryed to install a PC I built, during the first reboot I got the blue screen of death. Then after rebooting, Vista install gave a message that the install was unsuccessful, and restored XP. For anyone interested, heres a list of the major system componets in the system. MB:Asus K8N-VM, Video:ATI Radeon X1600, Audigy 2 ZS, 2 GB of OCZ DDR 400 memory, Sony DVD/RW drive, and a WD 80 GB 10,000 rpm HD. The motherboard has builtin video and sound which I have disabled in the BIOS. I made 2 attempts to install with the same results.
