Comments on: Microsoft-Yahoo the mother of all clusterbombs

To pull this off, Microsoft's Steve Ballmer will need to throw one hell of a hail mary pass, says CNET News.com's Charles Cooper.

thats one dollar that pays for a server.
thats one server that lets a women make a profitable channel
thats one workman who pays the farmer for his fine new purple carrot cake chosing the super healthy option becasue these women ect who were doing other things now want his workmanship.

And thats Economics

So thats one shop that stocked the carrot cake not scrapping the stock today and hence not increasing the price of the other items.

all from the power of 1 dollar that American family payed the server farm dude with.

That market of level of social capitalism could exsist its just waiting for an opening and better software.

So whats in the way the dollar spending, the capital wealth.

Nope
the lack of trained software engineers and clever managers.

Why
1) Cultural apathy
2) Militerial Opression
3) Greed at the top
4) over Taxation (poor individual service return) and poor governmental management of an otherwise superb economy for political gain.

Whats not in the Way

Access to Education
Market Capital
The Internet

However if that Dow goes down Millionares will be thinking what they can do to make sure their market isn't stung long bofore the Xenu Scientologies would be attempting to get the upper hand for their 60 year war.

Of course if the Dow goes down All the millionares are going to be the best frien of social networks trying to ensure their rise back up in the market and they're gonna wanna help everybody they can succeed in the market.

So what happens instead.
They hit the poorest groups, First helping them inproperly and to rapidly on purpose and then go look the bubbles burst in the housing market.
Thats what they did.
That way you don't challange their opression in such prosperious times you just look at how Dell and HP are struggling in a market that they wanted to sorce to the wide world and work with the wider world with over the interests of US citizens in the first place.
This way you complian on some system like news.com about the apocoliptic notion of how the US is going to the dogs.
At the Same time The CIA is larger than ever recuiting all the desprite people you just convinced and your millionare who might sceme his way in better and tap the US market is warded and blocked.

Oh yes it works that way.

Somone has to sit here typing making sure the damn thing works properly (while everyoine else blames all the wrong things and offers all the uneffective solutions that sacked employe just did).
You see if it wasnt for that Social and technology inginious engineer (no idea who he is) then things wouldent function so well and you wouldent have such a confident market with such veriables.
This kind of thing hasent happened before. It must be some man tweaking, repairing and finley tuning the cog works of the whole worlds economy until it's perfect.
So anyway if you find such a odd looking lepricon as this give him money.

I was Just Watching how this Oil cost rise thing is causing you to have less in a sense to work with your world.
If you did have this Server Farm and these macrobatic Entities with enough clever unopressed professionals you could manage the problem better.
Some macrobats could manage the Developments from Energy research to output while others could mashup and work with logistic percifics to make you get more bang for you buck in terms of oil. Therefor you would be saving money and generating more economics.

Lets face it if you just get depressed then you'll become more dependent on the Wishes of Sunnie groups however if you break thorugh the energy issues then you'll actually allow for a good strong Dow that can let the East prosper better to.
On one side you have a cinical opressive order readdying you as a foot soldiers against China on the other you have the power of man working an economy to ensure a stable and prosperous war leaving the dark ages behind and it all comes from Assertive marketing make damn sure what you invest in woirks functionally enough to keep the whole ship afloat.

King Abdulla Has Domination plans but he also has civilisation wishes for all the muslim area.
What you and other need to show these biggoted arsholes is that infact the communities can progress into a more progressive and stable world. One that perhaps works better with pride than Colonalism.

If mr Abdulla see people stand up against his Stupid not well thought out militarial plans and instead showing him that things can work well for all of us with our intrests as individuals to evolve than it will effect his soul as his militarial objective is power most lightly from cinisism in the first place.

Bigger is not always better
by KevenNoEyes February 3, 2008 12:12 AM PST
Does anybody remember when Novell bought the rights to control UNIX for $250 million to be bigger than Microsoft? How about when 3Com bought US Robotics to be bigger than Cisco? Bigger is not always better. A bigger clusterXXXX is not usually a better clusterXXXX. Trust me, I've been there while the XXXXing was happening.

Microsoft will buy Yahoo, name it MSN Yahoo or Yahoo MSN, every employee with a brain will wait for their stock to vest and then quit, and Microsoft will wake up to find that all they bought was a bunch of empty buildings. Go for it Microsoft! It's your turn. Bend over.

... What was that? 12 million undocumented immigrants are 12 million undocumented immigrants; and, HIBs are HIBs; by the time the next US General Elections comes around (and the direction the US Economy is headed from all appearances) those "empty buildings" will be full to the ceilings with lower waged workers than the ones that were there if and when the Microsoft-Yahoo deal goes through. Seeing that ya have got "NoEyes"... Don't ya think ya gotta get some "eyes" to see beyond certain things/moves. :-( !

You see a lot of that in MS's older Speech API released in 2001. You can't even compile code using their headers in VS 2005 without changing the header and praying it works with the binary lib. I hate to see what else from around that time uses illegal C/C++ syntax and scope that even a 1st semester programmer should know about. So, Spock, I don't know why you would want OS/2 to own that...

... has his ways; but, sometimes folks have to get to the bottom of things and here is where the question of "morphology" comes in. So, just how much (like Windows morphed out of OS/2 - read the History on the Development of OS/2) ALBA will morph out of The Inter-American Development (IDB) ( http://www.iadb.org ) and Microsoft-Yahoo will morph out of Microsoft and Yahoo merger is as the as the main subject headline of this article states "the mother of all clusterbombs". So good luck with your mopping up exercises; aren't some lucky that the "MS's older Speech API released in 2001" are not "Sub Atomic Particles" as Commander Data will refer to them as. Which of these have/represent the better social value to society at this time anyway - ALBA, the "Microsoft-Yahoo clusterbombs" or the "older MS Speech API released in 2001"?

"ALBA seen as avenue to economic aid for small Caricom states -Prof Vaughan Lewis"

Still, as in "Ever Onward IBM" (and, particularly with the "U.S. Federal Housing Loan Origination Services" deal and the "ISO Standards" in hand) "All Your (Server Farm) Base Are Belong To Us"

More supposition on an offer?
by mikalg February 3, 2008 7:36 AM PST
All the "expert" commentary in the world, is not going to conclude the outcome of the offer of Microsoft to purchase Yahoo. too many variables involved to actually calculate. So lets say we report peoples opinions on what MAY happen..IF any such action takes place? Such is the state of modern "News". Considering we are reporting OPINIONS; here is mine. Passing around a share of the pie, doesn't change the SIZE of the pie. If it did, who would ever need to buy another Thanksgiving Pumpkin pie? Simply cut another slice, and it mysteriously expands to accommodate a new much bigger pie! Is Microsoft or Yahoo going to mysteriously GROW or SHRINK in any real world measure against Google's share of the advertising budgets of online advertising? Simply put; no. Such a proposal is good for both companies COMBINED, as their revenue will increase in proportion to each others "share of the pie". Worst case, some Microsoft/Yahoo home page/search users will jump ship to another service irritated by such a merger. Inferring the total, or any major collapse of Microsoft, and Yahoo's market share of this particular segment of their respective businesses is total "BS" (for your editors ;P ). Reporting otherwise, most especially based on opinion, and rumor, is to report a story that is a "clusterbomb", to use your wording, in itself. Sorry Chuck, but I bet you will find NO CHANGE that is critically measurable AFTER any such merger...if it ever took place.

Didn't the word "perspective" in the headline clue you in to the fact that this is an editorial?

Such is the state of reading comprehension today. Or is it a case that perspective is simply to large of a word?

Regarding Microsoft's Bids to Buy Yahoo
by krosavcheg February 3, 2008 9:28 PM PST
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is presently under the influence of Neptune "negative" Jupiter. This influence governs the unrealistic, impractical, and shows no workable plan for success, the influence is purely emotional. This influence also shows a disregard for morals, ethics and values, which reflects the "take over" tactics of Microsoft as Yahoo begins layoffs and restructuring within. The chart of Steve Ballmer indicates that he is making a "big" mistake in timing and planning that will harm Microsoft.

... this proposal only shows how desparate MS is in the competition with Goolge and only helps to raise the status of Google as an effective competitor. I will not be surprised that Yahoo, if it is smart enough not to make the same mistake twice, will eventually hook up with Google to build a new empire based on the Internet. The old desktop empire is about to be go away as history will repeat itself. Microsoft needs new leadership with a new direction and a team who can deliver it.

Eric has already learned his lessons in past competition with MS and will not give Steve Balmer another chance to play old tricks on him.
