patent on 'buy it now?'

The question is how did they get 'buy it now' on a patent. I understand things like immersion lawsuit over microsoft and sony lawsuit which is over a product.

its a computer connected to a database and a bunch of termminals. Issued in 1998. Heck, IBM did that with the system/370 in 1970.

Still too many lawyers.
