J. Edward Coleman - Race Them to the Bottom and Fight to the Death!
by Sumatra-Bosch September 7, 2006 6:21 PM PDT
Ed,

This is your chance to reconfigure the industry and drive the bayonet between Microsoft's shoulder blades. Announce a dirt cheap Linux PC with $7,000 worth of software - free and installed - for $500 and guaranteed safer than Windows.

Whenever Windows vulnerabilities get press, you run commercials that claim, "Gateway computers dodge the Windows bullet! America safer with every Gateway PC sold". Then you can send Ballmer Burgermaster gift certificates for the day when his company implodes in the Vistapocalypse and the world gives up on dangerous, incompetently designed software.

Debra-

Did you get the address? If so, would you share it with me? I have had nothing but problems with my Gateway laptop and have received no customer service satisfaction at all. I'm at my wit's end and feel contacting the CEO may be my only alternative at this point. Thank you so much for your help.

I bought a Gateway laptop last year and have had nothing but trouble with it. After only two months, I had to send it in for service, which took almost three months and many, many phone calls. Now, just a year later, it is doing the exact same thing--not starting up. Needless to say, I'm not at all impressed with Gateway products or customer service at this time and really need some suggestions on how to get this worked out. Thanks for any suggestions you might have.

Hi

Does anyone have J. Edward Coleman's contact information...???? I have had the same issues as all of you above? I think we need to have CNET make the public aware not to purchase GATEWAYS>

So, Heidi, did you ever get the info on Edward Coleman? I have all the same issues as everyone else here and can't find out how to reach this man. Two months and still no computer back and unhelpful customer service reps. I would love to have his info if you have it.

Hi,
I would like that information also. I just bought a New Gateway in March 2009, with the understanding that I would be eligible for the Windows 7 upgrade, they will not honor that program, because I purchased 3 months to soon. I have contacted Microsoft and they said it's up to Gateway. I have filed a consumer complaint against Gateway, and I feel they should make this wrong, a RIGHT !!!!
I WISH SOMEONE WOULD HELP THE CONSUMERS !!!!!
