The last quote for the piece seems to be attributed to AMD, but that doesn't look right.

I think you are correct and someone at cnet needs to fix this statement. Looks like AMD is suggesting to use Intel chips which doesn't sound right.

Thanks for pointing it out, we fixed it. AMD tends not to advocate that people use Intel chips.

I am a white box, build your own all the way but with Dell going AMD I might just give them a chance.

that Dell went with consistant pricing. Buying something online only to see it the next day at a "special price" is poor business, yet has been a common practice at Dell for far too long.. It is the reason I buy elsewhere.
