MS is shooting self in foot

By seeking to enforce the generic term "windows" as a trademark against Lindows, MS is giving Lindows more free publicity than it could ever get by itself. The "term" windows" clearly predates MS's use of the term to describe its graphical interface, i.e. X-windows, and the windowed interface of the Mac. MS and Bill Gates should stop using the legal system to prop up their company and start selling Windows on the merits of the product ... or is the example of SCO (propped up by MS cash and building its entire company around lawsuits) too tempting? ... or is the inevitable truth that Linux will someday topple MS, and MS knows this already?

So for anyone who writes software that includes any empty
spaces in the name, I'm going to sue them.
