Where y'all been ?

Been using IE7 for about 6 months now.

OK - I'd rather be running Opera - but some sites just won't work with Opera. So I HAVE to use IE & it's OK. There is no SIGNIFICANT advantage using something other than IE7.

IE-7 incompatibilities
by rtatman October 20, 2006 3:16 PM PDT
I'd hoped that Microsoft's IE-7 final release would be compatible with all the other software on my PCs. Nope! The first thing I found is that EarthLink's spamBlocker add-in for Outlook and Outlook Express will not work. EL support reports that they're working on an update. So I un-installed IE-7 and will continue with IE-6 until this is resolved. How many other vendors will have to update because of Microsoft's change?

Bloggers aren't the only ones

I had IE7 when it was still in beta just to see if there was any actual improvement.

All I saw was Microsoft trying to catch up nothing new useful fun or whatever that other competitors don't have...In fact it's not even as good as others.

One main feature which wooed me to Firefox was the convience of placing RSS links directly on it's toolbar they are one click on my screen.
In IE7 beta you had to look for your RSS in a different menu.
Thumbs down on that.

Secondly microsoft provides extensions a-la Firefox but you have to buy them.
Another stupid move..
The only good thing was the anti-phising filter which came bundled in the explorer.
