Its all about participation

In reading through this article it seems like VisiblePath is on the right track. Web2.0 is all about participation and how usually the knowledge of a socially participative process is always greater than an individual.
I think what has now become evident in the consumer or end user Web2.0 world is that most Web2.0 technology and applications are hosted and usually start as free offerrings till they represent some tangible value and that is when the company offerring it want to monetize it. So providing a free version of the VPath product till the sales reps get hooked on to it is the way to go.
