Oh, but I guess if everybody uses Windows search tools, then all will be well in the world.
Sorry Billy-Bob, I'm goin' with Linux dude.
ones in development. Unless Microsoft buys out one of these
companies, and does not corrupt the software ...
Look, I guess I got just a little bit angry, but I am so sick and
tired of Microsoft announcing advances, and claims of things to
come when they are already here, or have been already
announced by someone else.
Each bovine (longhorn) announcement and demo keeps looking
more and more like Apples OSX and its capabilities. Most other
announcements are about things that the Linux world, and a lot
of other systems ALREADY HAVE. They shamelessly
demonstrated mockup versions of their search tool, RSS feed,
and others on several occasions. And I say shamelessly because
they remakably similar to what already exists, and they acted as
if they were bringing something new.
Google sucks, Yahoo! sucks, MSN search sucks, they all suck. They need to stop worring about how they can cram more ads on the page and how they can charge more for it and start concentraiting on designing a search engine that gives you the results you need and that includes the unbiased results that are listed because they contain the information you need and not because joe blow spam head paid the most for it.
Search engines are like **** on a boar. Sure they look nice, but thats about it. :)
