I am guilty

I have to admit I was one of the people who said there was no hope for Sun. It looks like they have risen to the challenge and proved there is life in them yet.

So far it seems the score is Sun 1, Naysayers 0.

The score is naysayers 47, Sun 1. They have been flailing for 6 years. One quarter of modest growth does not a recovery make. Let's give it a year or two and see if people really wnat to buy x86 machines from Sun for the long-term.

Sun has bright people

I worked for Sun year back , Sun has lots of bright engineers. They got some amazing stuff like cool thread servers,Solaris 10 OS. There are few other failing products also. After Jonathan become CEO,I guess they are taking hard decisions about failing products. So there is a every possibility , Sun will reach No.1 spot again. Wait and see
