Not that I'm an AMD fanboy or anything...

Why is it that articles like this keep popping up that reference AMD and crashing/overheating in the same sentence?

Looking at who's running hotter right now (by far), I'd think it'd be more appropriate to mention Intel right after the overheating and crashing comment...

I know this could be construed as nitpicking (and maybe it is), however you all know that some armchair IT exec will undoubtably read this or find it on a google search, read about the first paragraph and decide that Nope, AMD chips crash and overheat, so we're going with the super Intel's that never crash and run much cooler.

Ya'll could have worded that first paragraph better, ya know?

I agree with Chuck Zmuda, Intel has major cooling problems with Prescott. I am a system builder and I would not build an Intel Prescott system at the moment. And I have built Intel systems exclusively the last seven years. Prescott, even the new E0 stepping has major overheating problems. That is why Intel is also implementing trottling, to back off clock speed as the CPU heats up. Heat is also the reason that Intel will not release a 4GHz Prescott.
