Many victims of financial fraud don't report the crime to authorities and few of the criminals are prosecuted, according to a new Gartner study.

If you include banks lending far more than they possess and blackmailing taxpayers in retrospect to fill back the coffers if they want to keep enjoying the free pursuit of life and happiness, I'd say financial fraud is reaching 100% of all adults.

Well, that`s not exactly what i was talking about (my point of view was strictly limited to the banks losing money and forcing customers to pay for them, inefficient companies that should have been wiped out by competition wanting a lifeline, and others requiring money from the government, not as an invitation to spend according to the needs of the taxpayers, but as direct handouts), but thanks for the links.
