now how can you have a sustainable conflict that goes on indefinately if you catch Osama? They are having way too much fun in the desert to let that happen and way too many people have a vested financial interest in keeping the "Osama is still alive" myth intact. If they found Osama they never would have been able to have fun in Syria or Pakistan yesterday.

And in related news: Email could be used by terrorists to coordinate attacks, according to a purported draft by some guy on the internet.

Wow, maybe all of you should go back to school. The U.S.A. is both a democracy and a republic, specifically a constitutional republic that relies on representational democracy. Everyone seems to be throwing around the terms democracy and republic as absolutes when both terms cover a wide variety of concepts for government. Socialism, conservatism - heck, even veganism are all political or lifestyle ideals that can function within any form of government. It's in "repressive" regimes where you get "shot in the head" for expressing views contrary to those of the government.

Anyway, keep in mind that reports such as this are common and are not meant to be taken at face value.

I am extremely disappointed in the army brass. In an age of instantaneous communication to be worrying about blogs and other public means of communicating is ridiculous. It's worse then the TSA whose paranoia has crippled the airline industry. You cannot defend against all possible threats, there simply is not enough money in this country to pay for such an endeavor. Our government and its agencies need to concentrate on the most likely threats, not the absurd and unlikely possibilities they are spending resources on now.

By the way - "first responders" are already using Twitter to help convey info during emergencies (and help lighten the load on official websites):
just Google this <emergency responder twitter>...

They're just looking for a back door to protected accounts. A rock is a potential terror tool. Maybe they're just trying to look busy these MI dweebs. Someone with a horrible stomach virus or the pink eye is worse than Twitter as a potential terror tool. So listen here: wash your hands regularly.

If somebody builds something, there probably is another who will literally / figuratively fill it with gunpowder and make it go BOOM.

How can we also say the Army is being used by the porn industry to hold sway over top leaders for blackmail and bend them to AIPAC,AEI,PNAC wishes. The enemy is within the USA and the enemy has us pointing not at ourselves.

How nice.

I guess the real case that has been proved here is that stupidity rules. Any time that the public is lured into displaying their stupidity, there are going to be problems.

Anyone wanna buy a bridge in New York City? Let me know. I have one for sale, and it's real cheap.

Did somebody real important write this article? I am a collector of very important garbage, and only collect it from the most important of origins. Garbage that comes from unimportant or anonymous sources never increases in value.
