Has someone watched too much Star Trek?

There is no "T" part of the spectrum. These are just very short wavelength microwaves, but with a flashy new name so as not to scare people into thinking they will be toasted from the inside out.

You must have missed it when they said they were tera-hertz waves...which would really make t-waves make sense ;)

They also told the audience at Los Alamos that they were far enough away to be safe. Half of them died young or were sterilized.
