I think you mean "ethenol", not "ethanol"

Ethanol (CH3-CH2-OH) is the alcohol found in alcoholic beverages. Ethenol (or vinyl alcohol, CH2-CH-OH, with a double bond between the two carbons) is quite different. You might want to correct your article.

Correction to the article

The enol mentioned in the news article is not eth_a_nol, it's
eth_e_nol. You won't find ethenol in your liquor cabinet (at least,
not in any quantity). It has the same molecular weight as
acetaldehyde, which is probably what it was previously mistaken
for before.
