- I'd just like to point out that the financial backing for the worlds first private supersonic spacecraft came from the profits made selling copyrighted software. In addition, the technologies created for SpaceShipOne are copyrighted trade secrets, and will be licensed to generate even more profit. I see no way OpenSource software could provide the same level of resources to set so many records or break the barriers to private space flight. At least... it hasn't. Capitalism rules.

- The documentary on the Discovery channel last night was excellent. I was a little surprised to hear Rutan congratulate Paul Allen... but I suppose technically, it's Paul's ship. Wow... what an amazing effort... around 20 people, and $20 million. Superb efforts.
