- Can someone explain this to me? It's a lot of PR info but I think there's some technical stuff behind it. I know what VPro is (saw a demo from Intel themselves last Wednesday) and I know how symantec and the other's plan to use the technology as I saw a demo of that as well. What is the hold up here?

(3 Comments)Symantec (and others) don't want to pay MS for the licensing. That means they need to develop an open source method. That takes time. In the mean time, MS will come out with their own tools and get the head start
