ARM and Apple

ARM and Apple go back a long, long way:

-Apple was one of the biggest early investors in ARM.
-The Newton MessagePad PDAs all used ARM CPUs.
-The first, second, third, and fourth generation iPods all used
Portal Player's 500x series chips, which were built around two
ARM7 processor cores.

There are probably a few other things I'm missing, too.

"They're written by engineers for engineers rather than by engineers for consumers."

That is the problem with most tech gizmos including computers.

Nice to see that someone in the tech industry recognizes this fact.
