I think this will benefit Sun microsystems too

SUN micro has 8 core SPARC based chips , the systems based on which is selling like hot cake. Intel's campaign will benefit SUN too , since more folks become aware of throughput capability of multi core systems.

Sun is having good ramp up of multi-core chip based servers. The more folks become aware of power efficiency & throughput of these multi-core systems the more the market opportunities for similar players.
