These new chips are pretty damn good. Can't wait till they come out.

64 bit software

I'd just like to be counted as someone who runs two AMD 64 bit computers (one Opteron, one Athlon 64 X2) with 64 bit SuSE Linux. Apparently I'm "almost no one". I feel so insignificant now.

AMD has their foot on Intel's neck

It is now AMDs show to lose and I think they will continue to produce better products than Intel for a good period of time. AMD is just better.

Fundamental architecture issues.

Until they realize, architecturally, the advantages of hypertransport or the like, they won't be catching AMD.
