- Intel only wants to change the patent laws so when they DO infrige on another patent they dont have to stop production on thier chips and can continue making money then just pay the fines etc and still come out money ahead. AMD is starting to really hurt thier profits so Intel is trying to pave the way for them to increase thier money by any means required.
