Plans to unveil chips with three models running at 1.6GHz and 1.4GHz, but by end of first half of next year, at least six more set to appear.

Nobody wants this stuff, nobody needs it, and nobody is impressed. Intel should just give it up.

I'll probably be upgrading _all_ of my systems to Itanium 2-9000s as soon as they're released. This stuff will more than double the work I can get done with my existing machines, without using a single drop more power. Why wouldn't I want one?
