That they turn to a different manufacturer. Obviously this company doesn't care about their products, otherwise they wouldn't have made the same mistake a 2nd time around.

Good luck getting a replacement!
by ptkdude--2008 May 20, 2005 2:09 PM PDT
My PowerBook G4 battery is included according to everything I've seen, including the CPSC website. When I filled out Apple's online form, however, it tells me that my computer and battery are ineligible. Calling Apple only resulted in them flat out REFUSING to take a replacement order. From what I was told, consumers MUST go through the website. Since Apple is refusing to honor their own recall, I was forced to lodge a non-compliance report with the CPSC.

I just got the email from apple saying I might be one of the reject
battery owners... went through the website, and no problem,
battery will be here in 4 weeks. Maybe you input your information
incorrectly? Sounds odd they won't take the exchange over the
phone it says in the email they will. Maybe ask for a manager... or
check again to make sure your battery is* a reject.
