This is increasingly funny: Apple issues a patch, security companies look at the readme and issue an "advisory," then send a press release to Cnet, who writes about the now-pretty-much-dead issue.

I can't believe people make money at this.

You are so damn right on, I still can't stop laughing. Really, this article came out on Sep.23 (a Friday, THE Friday), and the writer even had the nerve to post this obtuse sentence:

"Apple declined to comment on the security patches Friday."

Maybe I am laughing so hard because the reality of it all is so ***--ng frightening. Is this the measure of reporting and news worthiness we are to continue to expect!?? What we see here is merely a reflection of state of affairs. Damn.

dislike ..steve and da gang.......when it comes to bill and da
